Kathy, the owner of Flat Creek Garden Center, will discuss small trees for the garden and "specialty" magnolia and Japa-nese maples. She has always carried plants "for the Collector at Heart". This is one of our favorite places to find unusual trees and perennials. And she will bring plants to sell.

The Metropolitan Garden Club of Portland is dedicated to promoting the love and knowledge of gardening. The club emphasizes good conservation practices including wise water use and appropriate use of plants within our local microclimates. Presentations at monthly meetings by industry leaders cover a wide range of topics. MGCP encourages member involvement through field trips to private and public gardens and nurseries, and the participation in educational and community enhancement projects.
